At Home
Keep a magnetic pad on your refrigerator. Each time you need to restock a kitchen item, write it on your list. Use this as your shopping list or reminder for errands. 

 

At the Office
Use a sturdy notebook or your calendar as a journal. Record telephone calls , notes, expenses, and ideas all on the day’s date. This will be come an invaluable resource. For small business owners, file the journal with your tax records to support your business record keeping.

 

At School
For your children or yourself, if you’re taking college courses, block out all school closures, vacations, teacher training dates and other closures, so you won’t have surprises and conflicts on your overall calendar. 

 

Errands
Are your errands overwhelming and never-ending? Find nearby businesses (near your home or office) that pickup and deliver.  This will save you’re a trip and you can check one thing off your To Do List. Save all your errands for one day each month, saves time, you can plan and complete Errand Day on a regular basis. 

 

Time
Make an appointment for yourself, with yourself to stop and reenergize.  Maybe you need a full afternoon of “do nothing” or “thinking and planning time.” Set the appointment and honor your self by keeping the date and giving yourself permission to focus on relaxation or daydreaming of things to come!

 

Travel
Create a packing list on your computer or in your PALM. Pack at least four days in advance of your departure. Check off each item as you include it in your luggage. Your packing list them becomes your luggage inventory. If your bag is lost or delayed you’ll have an inventory of your items. 

Does your passport expire this year? If so, make an appointment deadline to get your new passport photos and submit your renewal application.
